The Abu Dhabi Sustainability Group (ADSG) Capacity Building Programme was launched in 2012, offering a comprehensive range of services to help members improve their sustainability management and reporting practices.

These include the following:

• A customised Guidance Handbook, helping members to become more sustainable, and an online Sustainable Maturity (SMAT) tool, quantifying their sustainable practices
• Training courses, focusing on sustainability management, including advice on writing a detailed report, and awareness for senior directors, helping them to guide their organisations and develop sustainable practices
• Themed workshops, briefing members on emerging sustainability issues and enabling knowledge-sharing
• An annual Report Support Programme, featuring quarterly workshops and support meetings, coaching members on issuing sustainability reports
• An annual Management Support Programme, featuring regular meetings, coaching members on sustainability-related management practices
• One-to-one support, allowing in-depth training tailored to a specific organisation
